PRIVACY POLICY
Bricks SLC ("Bricks", "we", "us") runs a members' workspace in Salt Lake City and the Bricks app for its members. This policy explains what the app collects, why, who else sees it, and what control you have.
Questions: brett@bricksslc.com
1. What we collect
Your account Phone number, email address, name, company name, bio, social handles, links, the clubs or interests you pick, your profile photo, your company logo, and your chosen profile backdrop.
Your membership Membership type and status, which company you belong to, whether you are a company's principal or a teammate, the date you signed your membership agreement, and whether you gave photo-release consent.
What you create in the app Posts, comments, likes, event RSVPs, direct and group messages, and any documents or images you upload.
Safety and moderation If you block another member, we record that. If you report a post, comment or message, we record the report — including who reported it, who wrote the reported content, and a copy of that content — so an administrator can review it. Reports are visible only to you and to Bricks administrators.
Payment Bank and card details are handled entirely by Stripe and never reach our servers or the app. We store only the Stripe identifiers that link your company to its subscription.
Your device The app asks for photo library and camera access only so you can choose or take a picture to post or use as a profile photo, and for write-only calendar access only when you choose to add a Bricks event to your calendar. It cannot read your calendar. We do not collect your location.
2. What we do not do
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking software of any kind. There is none in the app. We do not track you across other apps or websites, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell your personal information.
3. Why we use it
To give you access to the app and the workspace; to show you the member directory, feed, events and messages; to run your membership and billing; to arrange tours and meetings; to keep the community safe by acting on reports and blocks; and to contact you about your membership.
4. Who else sees it
We use these service providers. Each receives only what it needs.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety, rights or property of members, staff or the public.
Other members see what you would expect them to see: your name, company, bio, photo, social handles and links in the member directory, and anything you post, comment or send. They do not see your phone number, email address, home address, billing details, or whether you have blocked or reported anyone.
5. Deleting your account
You can delete your Bricks app account at any time from Edit profile → Delete account. Deleting it permanently removes your profile, posts, comments, messages, likes and RSVPs. This cannot be undone.
Two things you should know.
Deleting your app account does not cancel your Bricks membership or your billing. They are separate. To end your membership, contact brett@bricksslc.com.
We keep one record after deletion. For financial and contractual record-keeping we retain your name, your company's Stripe identifiers, your membership type and the date of deletion. We keep nothing else — no phone number, email address, profile content or messages. We retain that record for as long as our tax and accounting obligations require.
Images you uploaded may remain in backup storage for a period after deletion while backups age out.
6. Your rights
You can view and correct most of your information in the app under Edit profile. You can delete your account as described above. You can block any member. Depending on where you live you may also have rights to a copy of your data, to correction or erasure, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email brett@bricksslc.com and we will respond within 30 days.
7. Security and location
Data is stored in the United States on Supabase's infrastructure. Access to member data is restricted by database-level security rules, and administrative access is limited to Bricks staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
8. Children
The Bricks app is for members of Bricks SLC and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell members in the app.

10. Messaging
We send one time verification codes by text when you sign in. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
